It is crucial in life to
learn how to balance your life. This is important because, life is temporary,
you should therefore, enjoy your life when things are going good because, good
things don’t last forever, neither do bad things. So if things are not going
well as you expect don’t worry because bad things will not last forever.
Consider life as a juggling
game of some 5 balls in the air. What you are juggling are your family life,
work, health, friends and your spirit. Along the line you will find out that
life is likened to a rubber ball that will be damaged. This therefore, means
you should understand this and work hard to ensure you balance your life.
However, the other balls of
family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass that when dropped they
will irrevocably be destroyed. They will never remain the same because they
will be shattered. This therefore, means you should understand this and work
hard to ensure you balance your life.
"Don't let the fear of
the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing
it. Remember the time will pass way; you might as well put that passing to the
best possible use."
When you discover any area of your life that
is less balanced then you have to ask yourself questions such as “what am I
going to do about it?” Life is on a finite line and it is important to live
with that feeling of true life fulfillment.
To map your life is akin to mapping a
journey. It is very necessary to know where you are heading to and how to
get there. You should learn to plan when to work hard, what to work on, as well
as when to play and more importantly when to just relax.
Goal setting has been known to help people achieve
a more balanced life. Sometimes goal may just not be about planning; sometimes
it is getting to the root of your beliefs, your limiting thoughts and even fears
so we can believe in yourself more.
Finally
hardest part of maintaining balance in your life is keeping a realistic picture
of what balance really is. "If you want to make good use of your
time, you've got to know what's most important and then give it all you've
got."
"Don't say you don't
have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were
given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci,
Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein."
