A Prayer Guide for The family and Events around Us

                                                                  

                                                                
As our world ends and evil increases we need to watch and pray (Matthew 24:1-51; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17). In my country Nigeria, we need prayers now much more than ever. The ugly faces of robbery, political uncertainty; security problems here and there; economic imbalance, lack of basic social amenities; terrorism; youth unemployment and many more.
 

Please pray for these matters

                                 i) Personal and family prayers

1) That my mother's pains and health problems are removed and healed (Isaiah 53:5; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 107:20).

2) That God resolves my financial concerns and I am blessed (Deuteronomy 28:1-15; Matthew 6:25-34).

3) That God fills me and my family up with his holy spirit making us rapture ready and heaven bound (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17; John 3:1-16; Joshua 6:25).

4) That God grants forgiveness, mercy, grace, peace, provisions, blessings, deliverance, healing and protections to me and my family (1 Corinthians 13:14).

                              ii) Christianity and world concerns

5) That God helps all Christians especially those who are struggling with any type of issue(s) (Matthew 14:22-33; Matthew 6:25-34).

6) That God's Holy Spirit continues to pour out upon and direct all Christians on planet earth (Acts 2:1-34).

7) That Christians are blessed and protected as spiritual darkness continues to fill this earth (Genesis 31:49).

8) That the Holy Spirit continues to bring in and mature "sheep" into the fold of Jesus Christ (John 10:1-25).

I ask all these things in Jesus’ name (Amen).

                            iii) The Lord’s Prayer (Mathew 6:9-13)

                           iv) The "Lord is my shepherd" prayer (Psalm 23:1-6)

                            v) Concluding prayer

Lord we thank you for your goodness and your grace made possible by the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. Father God we ask that you continue to send your holy spirit to lead others into heaven's door which is Jesus Christ. We thank-you for your love for us and your mercy and grace. 

We ask that you save us, lord and rapture us into heaven before your door of grace is shut closed. we ask all these things in Jesus’ holy name(1 Peter 1:9; Romans 5:9; 1 John 1:7-10; John 3:16; John 3:1-16; John 4:24; John 14:4-7; John 10:7-10; 1 John 4:8; Matthew 24:29-34; 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17; Matthew 25:1-12) Amen.
