It is very important to make sure that your family and family relationships are kept in such a way that will lead to successful family life. When you are able to manage your career and family relationships well, you will sure enjoy a good family life. This however does not rule out, the chances of some problems arising.

The fast and furious speed of technological growth, and growth in every field of life around the world affects the relationships a lot. Of course the technology and its contributions helped people to keep in touch with one another even from everywhere around the globe.

On the other hand, the busy schedule of couples and new ways of living have badly affected most relationships, families, children's health, and even caused a lot of behavioural problems. Here are few methods for enhancing the family and relationships.

 1. Family therapy

People seek family therapy to develop and enhance the relationships among the family members, and to make them able to lead a good life with their families. Family therapy focuses on the following areas in order to restore happiness to the family:
  • Harmony
  • Unity
  • Sharing
  • Boundaries and Respect
Family Therapy and Counselling are powerful ways of family treatment for improving family and its relationships. These are effective particularly in:
  • Improving and strengthening family relationships and overall family functioning.
  • Healing and recovery of one member of the family who is identified as not doing well due to emotional and/or behavioural difficulties.
  • The treatment of role confusion and conflicting needs and goals.
  • The treatment of sibling rivalry.
  • The treatment of Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD).
2. The Child

The problems with child behaviour are nowadays another problem faced by many parents. Most of such problems can be eliminated through intervention and child counselling. The variety of difficulties in child behaviour include the following:
  • Children who show clingy behaviour or have separation anxiety.
  • Children who have a preoccupation with death or dying.
  • Children who have eating disorders.
  • Children, who withdraw, because they are overly shy or guarded.
  • Children who are addicted to television, internet and video games.
  • Children who are academically behind, disorganized and unfocused.
  • Children who tell a lot of lies and steal, and
  • Children who are disobedient to their parents.
3. Adolescents

Another situation which has to be focused is the Adolescents and the problems related to this period. These problems can be eliminated through adolescent counselling. Common forms of problems related to adolescent behaviours include:
  • Adolescents who display antisocial behaviours such as running away, stealing and promiscuity.
  • Adolescents who are lost, unfocused and unorganized.
  • Adolescents who are suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks and phobias.
  • Adolescents who show compulsive behaviour and mood swings.
  • Adolescents who are socially withdrawn and spend too much time alone.
  • Adolescents who have a bad temper, restless and irritable.
  • Adolescents who are in and out of relationships.
The families with personality issues are big threats to the society. It is not fair to avoid the numerous problems arising from problems since it leads to complicated issues among relationships even when it seems not to matter.
